Unique wines from one of the best vineyards in Montagne-Saint-Émilion area, Château Lestage, known for its rich terroir. The estate is located on the highest slopes of Montagne hills, which  leads to the excessive amount of sun, water deficiency and good exposure to the winds of the Atlantic. The rich, Merlot-based bouquet of these wines traces light notes of anise, giving individuality and freshness to their deep taste. Lestage wines can be cellared for 5-15 years.

Château Lestage is located in the charming region of Montagne Saint-Emilion.

18,5 ha of Lestage vineyards lie on the top of the highest hill in the area. The whole day the vines are exposed to the sun.

Clay and sandy pocket stretches from Pomerol to Montagne, including the Lestage hill. The soil composition here strikingly resembles the famous soils of Pomerol.

The top of the hill location allows the winds to bring the sea breeze. The combination of climate and soils unique even for this region create great conditions for ripening of Merlot grapes, which take over 15 ha of the vineyard. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc make a wonderful addition to the wine bouquet.

Château Lestage wine program includes 100% Merlot wines as well as Merlot and Cabernet blends.
